The BIOROCK system comes in a range of sizes, from a unit with the capacity to deal with a population of 6 person, which is suitable for most domestic houses, to a population of 12 and 18.
For larger applications such as nursing homes, guest houses, leisure facilities, hotels, larger residential developments and any other commercial or industrial application, the BIOROCK system can be used in a modular fashion to cater for larger organic and hydraulic loads.
Unlike other systems on the market that have higher electrical running costs and maintenance costs with increased system sizes, the BIOROCK remains a passive system. The larger the application, the larger the saving. Many larger systems currently used in Ireland can have annual running costs of thousands of euro. Installation of a modular BIOROCK system can result in a system payback in a 5-10 years due to the savings associated with maintenance, de-sludging, carbon tax and electricity.
The BIOROCK can also be used to retrofit existing septic tanks serving anything from single houses that are being extended, to larger commercial, industrial and residential applications.
